LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) launched petition in Lahore High Court (LHC) for ensuring immediate seating of Deputies of Punjab Assembly disqualified by Electoral Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and taking the oath of new It is reported by ARY NEWS.
The application was filed with the President of the Lahore High Court (LHC) by PTI. counsel, who also general details of today’s event in the Punjab Assembly.
He claimed in his plea that dissident PTI legislators are not allowed to attend meetings of the Punjab Assembly after being disqualified and removed from office by the Electoral Commission. “Court should ensure oath of new members on reserved seats that became vacant after the firing of PTI lawmakers,” he said.
PTI counsel Azhar Siddique said that the chief justice asked them to introduce plea tomorrow as scheduled. ” plea will be accepted up Tomorrow in court,” he said.

Punjab dissident MPs include Abdul Alim Khan, Nazir Ahmed Chohan, Uzma Kardar, Faisal Hayat, Raja Sakhir Ahmed, Malik Ghulam Rasul Sangha, Saeed Akbar Khan, Mohammad Ajmal, Mohammad Amin Zulkernain, Malik Nauman Langreal, Mohammad Salman, Zawar Hussain Warraikh, Nazir Ahmed Khan, Fida Hussain, Zahra Batul, Mohammad Tahir, Aisha Nawaz, Sajida Yusuf, Harun Imran Gill, Malik Asad Ali, Ijaz Masih, Mohammad Sabtain Raza, Mohsin Atta Khan Khosa, Mian Khalid Mehmood and Mehar Mohammad Aslam.
