Request for direct orders over mistreatment in court

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday ordered Chief Minister Punjab Hamza Shehbaz to investigate disruption caused security forces after the judge of Special Court (Central-I) Ijaz Hasan Awan and others complained of subjected to harassment by the security forces.

The order came after the judge complained about his car was intercepted and others were prevented from entering the courtroom.

The judge heard pre-arrest pledge of Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz in in money laundering case.

Morning hours after arrival of in prime minister in the courtroom, these gates were closed by guards personnel plaintiffs, lawyers, court employees and journalists were not allowed inside.

During the trial, the judge expressed concern over security personnel intercepting it car and staff members.

Shehbaz took from the podium and told the court that he also stopped by security main gates.

“Mister prime ministers prime minister in or outside courtroom,” the judge said. “Who will act? You have administrative control also it is your duty to see things and decide what kind of action can be taken in such a situation,” he continued.

In this regard, the Prime Minister sent CM Punjab to investigate “why or who created such a situation in the courtroom.”
