In response to the Electoral Commission of Pakistan (ECP) decision, analyst Munib Farooq said that Hamza Shehbaz is not a chief minister of Punjab is no more and no more government in provinces.
talking during Geo News program “Aapas ki baat”, Farooq said that such a large number of people have never been displaced before, adding that now it’s a matter of back until 16 April.
“According to Article 130 there will be second round of elections for chief minister seat and one who gets the most votes will elected as CM Punjab, ” added Farouk.
He said that Hamza lost most and no government present time in Punjab at the moment, adding that new assembly session will be called after new governor in Punjab elected.
Farouk added that there are many of confusion in Punjab, since the allied parties are unable to achieve any decision because they don’t have the authority.
On the other side, senior journalist Hamid Mir said that Hamza did not CM more and voting will take place again and ESP decision about dissidents is correct.
