Armed Forces Efforts to Help Cholera Patients in Balochistan continued, with at least 3063 people provided assistance in diseased areas.
“The Balochistan Frontier Corps continues to provide assistance in Pier Koh and surrounding areas of Dera Bugti, spokesman for the Inter-Agency Public Relations (ISPR), said in twitter post on Thursday.
“Doctors and paramedics provided medical assistance to 3063 patients, treatment – 921. for cholera,” the statement said.

On Monday, it was reported that at least 1,700 people were infected with cholera in village located in mountain region of Dera Bugti after locals used polluted water due to old and rusty pipelines.
In accordance with official entries, at least four people were killed in cholera epidemic, but locals claim that at least 20 people have died and thousands have become infected.

provincial government previously stated that the situation was under control, but local residents and civil society took to social media to highlight the deficit of Drinking water in village.
