TTP extends truce until May 30 after ‘successful’ talks

PESHAWAR:

The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has agreed to extend the ceasefire. with Pakistan until May 30 following the meeting with This week, a Pakistani delegation led by Peshawar Corps Commander Lieutenant General Faiz Hamid at the Serena Hotel in Kabul.

Pakistani military ordered the Taliban to stop attacks across the border, extend the ceasefire, and allow the fencing along the Pakistani-Afghan border to continue.

On the other hand, a committee of 32 members representing the Mehsuds and a committee of 19 members representing the Malakanda tribes. division have also negotiated with Taliban on request of Pakistani government.
