Army makes ‘strong exception’ to attempts made drag your lead in political discourse: ISPR – Pakistan

According to a press release issued by Inter Services Public Relations, the army made a “strong exception” due to “intense and deliberate attempts” to drag its name into the country’s ongoing political discourse by “certain political leaders, journalists and analysts.” ISPR) on Sunday.

The ISPR statement does not specify which incident or incidents are in question. The watchdog has also initiated an investigation against Bol host Sami Ibrahim for allegedly broadcasting “anti-state” videos and statements on various social media platforms, including with respect to the army.
