Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) on Saturday announced it will keep public rally in Karachi on May 17 with of in coalition ongoing protest by the parties against hooliganism in Masjid-e-Nabwi in Medina during a recent visit of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
JUI-F central spokesman Aslam Guri said JUI-F head Maulana Fazlur Rehman and other central leaders will attend the rally to be held in Mazar Quaid. on May 17th.
He said that after Karachi the religious party would also organize a rally in Peshawar on May 21st.
“JUI-F always goes out of his way to protect public interests and religious values,” he said.
Guri said that JUI-F was the only religious political party whose goal was not only to protect democracy, but also to also Islamic provisions of constitution and principles of Islam.
