Canford Heath fire in Pool latest how the house was saved

300 meters fire the front that swept through Canford Heath for six hours could spread to nearby homes if fire the crews were unable to bring it under control.

“So firex out and we’ll still probably be here all night to ensure what do we dampen down any hotspots that could flare up up again and just to give in public reassurance that they are safe in them homes.

“Obviously we are not like to see the moorland damage and we put it in small area from what could be a large-scale incident.”

Speaking of cause of in fire Mr House said: “The incident is under investigation, this is an investigation between Dorset Police and a fire investigation officer from the Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service.

“At the moment we are not know what the cause there is, but it’s obviously being looked into, an investigation is underway, and the police are investigating.”

area manager said that long term effects on moorland wilderness was probably minimal.

He said, “Until we know in cause I think it’s worthy of everyone just be careful to ensure they do not pose any risk of fire on wasteland.

“Please don’t use matches or barbecue on wasteland, and then we can enjoy in space safely”.
