The police officer was taken to the hospital after truck went to your patrol car after trying to get driver to pull over.
Metropolitan Police officers stopped a Ford Transit as it was seen moving erratically through Stockwell, south London.
After being pulled out over, driver of in vehicle in reverse order speed to the police car in an attempt to leave.
One officer was hospitalized for treatment for head and hand injuries, but is currently discharged. Another police officer was seen at the scene by paramedics.
The police conducted a search area after the incident, but truck was not found. Investigation underway way track it down down and identify those involved.
The Metropolitan Police said in a statement: “Officers are contacting for in public help track dump truck truck who crashed into the police car in Lambeth on Friday.
“About 22:50 on Friday, April 15, officers in noted police car in Landor Road, Stockwell, indicated for a yellow and black Ford Transit Dump Truck truck stop.
“It was a normal traffic stop initiated because of manner of driving and damage vehicle.
“Instead of of stop, i.e. truck in reverse order speed in the hood of police car. The impact was significant, causing significant damage.”
The police said that the truck yellow and black with damaged mirror on one side supposedly has registration number FA04 UZW, although the letter F is missing from the rear license plate.
