Charlie CristX campaign announced Monday when the Speaker of the US House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi supported him in 2022 Florida governor race.
Krist and Pelosi worked together in Congress for in past six years as Christ represented Florida’s 13th congressional district. She is joins in over 130 elected officials and community leaders who have supported Christ to date.
In a statement to Florida Politics, Pelosi said that Krist work in Washington defended Florida business community from economic consequences of pandemic COVID-19 and helped earn billions dollar investments in infrastructure of your state.
“From his tireless work in Congress for his commitment to Floridians across the state, Charlie Crist has an impenetrable record of fight for in people of Solar state and delivery results it matters,” Pelosi said. “Charlie can and will win current Governor and hit the earth is running on day one in Tallahassee. I am proud to support Charlie Christ as next governor of Florida.”
Pelosi’s support comes as Krist leads Democratic pack in fundraising by cutting it out second $1 million per month fundraising in March. So far it campaign raised over $8.2 million in his attempt to overthrow the governor Ron DeSantis.
Included in Other endorsements Christa is the 2010 Democratic gubernatorial nominee. Alex Sink and 2006 nominee Jim Davis. He also got union support from AFGE, UFCW 1625 and KVA.
Krist said he was honored to have Pelosi approved as his campaign works to build Florida that works for all Floridians.
