The suspect abandoned the SUV after leaving on wild ride, leading LASD on chase
Suspect lost control of in vehicle and tried to run on foot.
SkyFOX noticed the suspect running across multiple paths in an attempt to evade the cops. Looks like he briefly thought about jumping on a moving a train.
Then he went back inside vehicle provoking confrontation. LASD deputies were placed near truck with guns drawn.
LASD is called on its Special Enforcement Bureau to help deputies already on the stage in a prolonged confrontation between the authorities and the suspected persecutor.
Suspect blocked windows of in vehicle adding car curtains on the dashboard and cardboard on side windows. Around 17:30 military style vehicle slowly began to approach the suspect’s SUV. Approximately 10 minutes later, the suspect got out of the vehicle, shirtless, and surrendered to authorities.
He was taken into custody. The suspect was armed with gun.
