Footage of British, deployed with Ukrainian marines in Mariupol appeared in what can be seen just before he surrendered to Russian soldiers without head injury seen after he was captured.
In the clip 28-year-Old Aiden Eslin from Newark in Nottinghamshire, walking through the ruins of Steel Plant in southern city where he fought with Russian troops for 48 days.
“If you are watching this video, then we have given up,” he said. “We have finally exhausted all our resources. We run out of ammunition, food. The only thing we had left there was water, but apart from that we were just under constant heavy shelling, heavy artillery, heavy air strikes.”
Thursday in Russia main news the program showed footage of Mr. Aslin at the interrogation of members of Russian special services after he surrendered with 36th Marine Brigade of Ukraine.
It has 28-year- the old one was accused of was a sniper, but denied that he fought, saying that he remained in the bunker throughout battle because he was scared.
