Deadlock persists between PPP, PML-N

ISLAMABAD: Despite numerous meetings between the PPP and the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), new coalition set up not yet understood over formation of Federal cabinet, ARY News reports.

Sources dedicated to development told ARY News that PML-N and PPP had held talks on late Wednesday over formation of federal cabinet after PTI’s expulsion government.

The PML-N delegation was represented by Ayaz Sadiq, Saad Rafiq and Rana Sanulla, while from the PPP Yusuf Raza Gillani, Sherri Rehman, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf and Navid Kamar negotiated. with the largest party in in current coalitionThey added.

Sources said that PML-N once again insisted on PPP joining Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif headed the federal cabinet. The PPP delegation proposed to give ministries in a new coalition set up other allies, including MQM-P BNP and BAP.

Earlier it became known that the federal cabinet under consideration is likely to include 12 ministers from the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and seven ministers from the Pakistan People’s Party.

What’s more, JUI-F is likely to receive four ministries, MMK will receive two ministries, while BNP-Mengal, ANP, Jamhoori Watan Party and Balochistan Awami Party will also receive OFFICE BROCKS.

Shehbaz Sharif called on PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, PDM Head Maulana Fazlur Rehman, MMK-P Organizer Khalid Makbool Siddiqui, Akhtar Mengal, Khalid Magsi, Shahzain Bugti, Aslam Bhutani and other leaders of allied parties.
