Fire brigades put out a “quite significant” object fire in Plymouth on Friday evening. Eight fire the engines were called to the incident at the Burrington Way Industrial Estate.
It follows fire it broke out around 19:20. This is believed to have happened at ML Commercial Body Repair LTD, rep. for This was reported to the fire and rescue service.
They said initially six fire the engines were sent to the scene. Around 20:00 the number increased to eight.
representative added: “We were called to fire with puffs of smoke from building. This is quite a significant incident.
“Fire brigades are fighting fire. They are using Breathe-helping machine.”
Images from distance show large plumes of smoke look out from Pennycross towards Honeyknole. A bunch of of sirens were heard in in area.
