Charles Darwin’s stolen notebooks returned to Cambridge library | news

Two notebooks belonging to Charles Darwin were returned anonymously to the University of Cambridge. more than two decades after they went missing.

small leather-bound notebooks, among which were the late scientist of 1837. Wood of A life sketch, missing in 2001. They were thought to have been misplaced before they were reported. stolen in October 2020.

Now precious items were returned in pink gift bag containing brown envelope printed with message “Librarian, Happy Easter X”.
