PTI dissident Abdul Alim Khan on Monday criticized Prime Minister Imran Khan and accused him of of not be “sincere to the nation”.
Once the closest helper of PTI chairman Alim disappointed over in past several years and recently took position against in party deciding support joint opposition in Punjab Assembly.
Talking to media in Today in Lahore he said he regrets having devoted 10 years of his life to party. “I supported PTI with great loyalty, hard work and kept his ego at bay. We thought it would be Naya Pakistan in in face of Imran Khan,” he said.
“I’m sad that the man I spent 10 years of my life for not sincerely with nation.”
Alim criticized the prime minister over number of issues ranging from “harassment” by his National Accountability Office to his persistence on retaining Usman Buzdar as chief minister and then the nomination of PML-Q leader Pervez Elahi as new Punjab CM.
Alim regretted being branded as a “PTI traitor”. out his critics and claimed no one in in party donated more than he.
In the same vein, he released challenge to prime minister present any evidence of corruption against to him, for who he said he was imprisoned for six months.
Why was there no link made against me? What evidence do you have? bring it on in front of nation and tell them that it was the misdeeds and corruption of Alim Khan… I promise that if I turn around out lie, then I will shoot myself,” he said.
PTI dissident evened the score of accusations against Buzdar too, saying that he was involved in corrupt practices over transfers and publications in Punjab. He also accused Farah Khan, associate of in first lady, of be an accomplice in these transfers.

Alim criticized prime minister for Sunday dissolution of National Assembly, asking what prevented him from doing so earlier. He said the prime minister could not dissolve meetings once a no-confidence resolution has been sent against to him.
