Two men are in hospital after the “riots” that were marked with a police seal off but main Road in South Lanarkshire.

Their age, the hospital they were taken to, and nature of their injuries were not disclosed.

A Scottish police spokesman told Record: “About 2:45 p.m. on Sunday, April 3, the officers were called to report of violation in Main Street, Rutherglen.
“Two men were taken to the hospital for incident treatment and investigation remain continuous.
“Any with information or possible videos of in connection with the incident, you must contact the police on 101, citing the 1811 incident. of April 3rd.
