ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan expressed ‘surprise’ on Sunday over The reaction of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) to its call for in general elections.
On his Twitter account, the prime minister wrote: “Amazed by the reaction of PDM for our calling for general elections.”
Referring to claims made earlier he said that they [the Opposition] cried “hoarsely” about how our government failed [and] lost support of in [people] so why fear of elections now?

“Democrats go to [people] for support” he wrote, urging them to accept what has happened now.
The prime minister wrote: “Isn’t it better for PDM will agree to the elections, and will not be part of of foreign conspiracy for regime change; and indulging in brazen purchase of loyalty, thereby destroying the moral foundations of our nation?”
Before, after successfully dodging opposition no-confidence a petition invoking a foreign conspiracy and ordering the president of country in dissolve National Assembly, Prime Minister Imran Khan also talked to his party leaders and mocked the opposition.

“The opposition still cannot understand what happened today,” the prime minister said, laughing.
Prime Minister Imran Khan continued: “Last night, you all tried not to panic. The opposition now knows nothing about the situation. If I had revealed yesterday what I was going to do, they would not have been shocked.”
