Pakistani People’s Party (PPP) on Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) insured on Thursday of accepting their requests in Return for support in motion of no confidence of the opposition against Prime Minister Imran Khan, second a media report.
A delegation of the MQM-P met the leadership of the PPP, including its president Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari e former President Asif Ali Zardari at lunch hosted from quest’last in Islamabad.
The MQM-P delegation included coordinator Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Aamir Khan, Aminul Haq, Wasim Akhtar and Javed Hanif.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and other PPP ministers e office-bearers including Nasir Hussain Shah, Saeed Ghani, Murtaza Wahab and Rukhsana Bangash were also present in occasion.
The meeting took place in a “very pleasant” atmosphere. Both sides discussed the prevailing political situation in country and decided to form a joint committee for the implementation of the requests of the MQM-P.
“Members of both sides will sit down down And work out a roadmap for progress and action on the MQM-P points,” the news outlet quoted its sources as they say.
On the other hand, the leader of the MQM-P Aminul Haq, speaking with a news channel, such consultations are still in course with the government and the opposition.
He said MQM-P is separate party and makes his own decisions to the question if all allies would announce a final decision together.
In a statement, MQM-P’s Aamir Khan said the consultation is in course and no decision has been taken so far as to the ways of separating with led by PTI coalition government.
He said it all decisions will be taken in custody in view interests of Karachi and his people people.
