Islamabad: The government moved to the Supreme Court against the absolution of the condemned in the murder of Qandeel Baloch, a model on social mediaParliamentary secretary for Law and justice Maleeka Bokhari said Thursday.

After the release of Waseem in February, Bokhari had announced the state was reviewing “legal options” in light of the law and previous rulings of the Court of Cassation in cases of so-called honor killings.
