The Harry Potter game Hogwarts Legacy will not be released until sometime after the release of the Fantastic Beasts 3 movie.
According to a Toy World Magazine interview with Rachel Wakley, who is responsible is for consumer products at Warner Bros, it has been spotted on Reddit. She reports that two major Harry Potter releases are in the pipeline in 2022: a movie and a game. She then mentions the film and the game by name.Fantastic Beasts 3 and Hogwarts Legacy were already known for release in 2022, but a release date for the latter is not there yet. The third Fantastic Beasts movie, sub-titled The Secrets of Dumbledore, hits theaters on April 15, so Hogwarts Legacy should be out sometime after that in 2022. That’s still a very spacey period, but at least fans now know not to expect the game before April 15.Harry Potter: Hogwarts Legacy is coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and S, and PC. Earlier this year, producer Troy Leavitt left. He came under fire after it was revealed that he had recorded several YouTube videos defending GamerGate and criticizing Anita Sarkeesian’s Feminist Frequency series. He also made a video in which he labeled the #MeToo movement as a “moral panic”.
