World Rally returns to New Zealand
The WRC has announced the calendar for 2022 with 13 races scheduled for the debut of the hybrid era of the World Rally Championship, which will pass in Portugal at the end de Maio.
The Rally of Portugal will take place between the 19th and 22nd of May and will open the tour par excellence in gravel competitions.

Next year will mark the fiftieth anniversary of the WRC and also the debut of the main category Rally 1 in which the cars are now hybrids with a 100 kW electric motor associated with the current combustion blocks and the use of a “one hundred percent sustainable” fuel based on hydrocarbons.
The calendar starts, as always, in Monte Carlo, at the end of January and ends in November in Japan, welcoming the return of New Zealand, absent since 2012 and still having a test. to be announced for the scheduled date in August.

After the Rally Spain having ended this Sunday with everything still to be decided, the World Rally 2021 ends next November with the Rally de Monza between November 18 and 21.
