Sometimes they are accidentally published sales pages of online shops, on which pictures, prices and technical details of devices that have not yet been presented can be seen for a short time. In some cases, however, the providers themselves manage to leak new hardware before the actual presentation – like Amazon now.

The signature edition of the upcoming Kindle Paperwhite 5 brings 32 gigabytes of storage space instead of eight gigabytes like the basic version. In addition, the lighting of the more expensive model automatically adapts to the prevailing lighting conditions. And the Kindle Paperwhite 5 Signature Edition is said to support wireless charging. However, this time there does not seem to be a version with a cellular connection.
According to the information on the Canadian Amazon site, the Kindle Paperwhite 5 will cost 149 Canadian dollars. The Signature Edition costs 209.99 Canadian dollars. That would be the equivalent of 99 euros or just under 140 euros. However, it is questionable whether these prices will continue to exist when the market is launched in Germany. The current Kindle Paperwhite came on the market in November 2018 in the cheapest version for 120 euros.
