New C-segment family model for everyday and off-road outlets
Announced a few days ago, the new Dacia Jogger was unveiled this Friday preceding the upcoming world premiere happen at the Munich Hall. This is the new 7-seater vehicle from the Renault Group brand, presenting itself as a familiar C-segment vehicle with an off-road spirit – which also has the 5-seater version.
With a length of 4.55 m including a wheelbase of 2.9 m, the Dacia Jogger takes on the length of a van, the space of a minivan and the appearance of an SUV to be able to share in the daily life of families and the off-road adventures of leisure dis.
The modularity of this model is evident between the capacity for 7 occupants and a maximum of 1,819 liters of load capacity in the version and 5 seats – in the 7-seat version, there are 1,807 liters of capacity with the second row of seats folded down and the third folded down. The minimum limit is 160 liters in the 7-seater version and 710 in the 5.
The Jogger’s adventurous ‘look’ stands out from the wide grille and well-demarcated fenders on large wheels on 16” wheels to the rear spoiler via the adjustable roof bars (with capacity for up to 80 kg load) and high ground clearance (200 mm without load). Dacia will also launch an Xtreme version with an even more pronounced off-road look.
LED technology is used in the position lights and dipped beams. Inside, the seats and light environments are also independent in the 7-seater version and there are three options for multimedia systems: Media Control, Media Display with 8-inch touchscreen and Media Nav with smartphone navigation and Wi-Fi replication – in conjunction with the smartphone docking station, and a 3.5-inch TFT digital screen.
Among driving assistance systems (ADAS) and safety devices, there are emergency braking, angle alert, dead, parking assistance and hill start assistance.
The range of engines inaugurates the new TCe 110 petrol, more powerful and with better performance, and also offers the LPG engine TCe 100 Eco-G.
The TCe 110 is a 1.0 liter, 3-cylinder, direct injection, turbo engine with 110 horsepower (81 kW) and 200 Nm torque at 2,900 rpm, with a 6-speed manual transmission. The TCe 100 Eco-G LPG engine offers a maximum autonomy of 1,000 km, thanks to two tanks: a 40L LPG and a 50L gasoline tank.

The beginning of orders is scheduled for November 2021 in around 30 countries, mainly in Europe, and the Jogger will reach dealers in February 2022.
In 2023, Dacia will add a hybrid engine to the range to make the Jogger “the most affordable 7-seat hybrid on the market”. This version will have a 1.6-litre petrol engine, two electric motors (one ‘e-engine’ and one high voltage starter) and a clutchless multi-mode gearbox.
