Portuguese driver will make his debut in circuit car racing at the 24 Hours of Barcelona
Miguel Oliveira will participate in the 24 Hours of Barcelona this coming weekend and the Portuguese driver which is part of the MotoGP World Championship has already tested the KTM X-Bow GTX with which it will make its debut in a circuit car race.
“It was, above all, a very fun first day, of discovery and at the same time of new sensations. I had a little bit of everything, from spinning tops to small touches, but also a lot of driving pleasure on the controls of this fantastic X-Bow.”

This Thursday was the day of tests with the Portuguese man making the first contact with this prototype with 500 hp of power for just over a ton of weight. The 24 Hours of Barcelona, endurance test for Turismo and GT that will take place at the Circuit de Barcelona Catalunya between the next 3 and 5 days.
The start of the race is scheduled for 12:00 on Saturday and MiguelOliveira will team up on the KTM X-Bow GTX with Reinhard Kofler, Peter Kox and Ferdinand Stuck – son of former Formula 1 driver Hans-Joachim Stuck.
“It’s totally different to be locked in a car’s cabin, almost unable to move and your head and little seeing outwards, but I loved the potential that this KTM has in terms of engine and braking and with the help of my teammates and technicians I know that tomorrow I will improve even more. But above all, I want to have fun and make the most of this invitation that you left me very honored.”

After this debut on a four-wheel circuit, Miguel Oliveira is scheduled to return to the MotoGP World Championship with KTM for the Aragon GP on the 12th of this month.
