Current stock of RTX 3060 and RTX 3060 Ti graphics cards could potentially ‘hallow at least in half’ next month. The prediction comes from a select group of hardware insiders, who discuss the GPU industry on a closed Chinese forum.
The reason for the sudden shrinkage of the print run is still somewhat unclear. According to one of the insiders, it is mainly partner manufacturers who expect few GPUs from Nvidia next month. That stock would not be stocked again until the end of September.VideoCardz checked their sources to see if the prediction sounded familiar; that turned out to be the case. Reportedly, more partner manufacturers are struggling with GPU shortages (including not only RTX 3060 chips), but select Chinese factories are also said to be temporarily closed due to local corona outbreaks.
While chip shortages could gradually increase in the coming month, the price for many cryptocurrencies seems to be accelerating the problems. A small price increase for the Chinese market is expected on

; although the sales prices of video cards are still closer to the target prices
than in many parts of Europe is.
