There are weeks when it is not so easy to maintain the belief in a positive future . Weeks in which, for example, a person who wants to become Chancellor of this Federal Republic (and possibly will) once again reveal a rather clouded relationship to scientific knowledge – and is toasted publicly for it by an American tech mogul. The fact that this tech mogul, let’s call him Elon for the sake of simplicity, looked like he was wearing his costume as a Bond villain adds a special touch to the whole debacle.
