Election Commission of Pakistan summons PTI, PPP, PML-N in foreign funding case
ISLAMABAD: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) issued notices on Saturday to the three significant political parties of the nation for analysis of international financing.
After the jurisdiction of the foreign and prohibited financing was extended, notifications were issued to the judgment Pakistan Tehreek-Insaf (PTI) and also resistance Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) to show up before the ECP’s examination board.
The PTI had relocated the Supreme Court asking for the top court to proclaim the PML-N and also the PPP as foreign-funded parties for presumably getting funds from restricted sources.
The situation versus PTI has been pending given that 2014 on the application of Babar, a disgruntled participant of the celebration.
