WATCH: Anthony Rizzo Drops to a Knee for His 200th Homer as a Chicago Cub –

Kris Bryant going deep for his seventh blast of the season (and 50th in the last 5 days) in the first; and then Anthony Rizzo sending one out from one knee in the bottom of the fifth.

[email protected] becomes the 9th player in franchise history to hit 200 home runs with the #Cubs! #TeamRizzo

That was Rizzo’s 10th homer of the season, 201st overall, and 200th with the Chicago Cubs. He is now 9th on the Cubs All-time home run list, and climbing.

Also … I absolutely love how he dropped down to a knee to reach that one. Wow.

According to Statcast, that homer was 107 MPH off the bat and traveled 422 feet overall. Rizzo is now slashing .254/.376/.554 (145 wRC+) this season, and is tied for the 10th most home runs in baseball. Dude is his best self.
